Election 2012: Arkansas to Romney; Senate races in Fla., Conn.

Per NBC News projections, Mitt Romney wins the state of Arkansas and its 6 electoral votes.

Two high-profile and hotly contested Senate races go to the Democrats. Bill Nelson wins in Florida for the Senate, and with 2 percent of the vote in, Democrat Chris Murphy is projected to win the Connecticut Senate seat, defeating the Republican candidate, Linda McMahon.
